One of my favorite things to do is to decorate birthday cakes. I've made a few in my life but this one has to be one of my favorites. My dear friend Laura celebrated her birthday today. Yesterday, I made a yummy chocolate cake from scrtach and I didn't bake it all the way by accident. So the middle imploded on itself. So, I decided to make a pond scene for her cake because I know she loves spring :-) I must admit the Peep is the best part!!

I LOVE the peep!! Joanna, you are so talented =) PS-This is Virginia K. I've been poking through all your lovely pictures, but this one was particularly comment-worthy for so many reasons. Glad you are enjoying Spring as well, even on the other side of the pond
