Last week the family and I enjoyed a week at the beach.. what do you do at the beach????
REST. It was amazing. We ate a lot, played games, put together puzzles, watched movies, tv, walked along the beach and collected shells, built a sand castle, surfed the waves (or got knocked down), ate some more, laughed a lot, played baci ball.. watched more tv.
We didn't abide by the clock. We weren't pressured for anything except to 1. make the movie on time and 2. return the DVD's by 9pm. We slept till we wanted, napped when we wanted, walked and ate when we wanted.
I don't remember the last time we did that. It was amazing!

Graduation..one year later

Yesterday, I met with some TESL girls with whom I graduated with /went through classes together! It was a blast to catch up and hang out. We came from Vienna, Budapest, Buenos Aires, Montgomery(AL), Lynchburg (VA), York (PA), and Richmond(VA). It was AWESOME!

2 got married, 1 more is engaged, 1 had a baby, one has one on the way

chip the chaplain

One of my close friends is a chaplain in Afghanistan. Today they were struck with 9 deaths. Please pray for him as he serves and lives in Afghanistan.

I'm proud of every soldier who serves for our country and our freedom! No matter what our opinion on war we should support our soldiers and pray for them!
